The new Khwai Bush Camp, has found a home on a permanent site on Tsaro Concession in the Khwai Community Area on the eastern border of the Moremi Game Reserve. Built on the banks of the Khwai River and nestled amongst a forest of sycamore and leadwood trees, Khwai Bush Camp consists of four standard and two family chalets (with inter-leading walkways/rooms). Enjoy spacious and comfortable thatched accommodation and private en-suite bathrooms with views over the permanent water source and beyond into the Moremi Game Reserve. Game drives are conducted in the mornings and afternoon/evenings at camp. They usually last about three hours each and are conducted along the river systems and flood plains around the camp. The wildlife in the area is prolific and chances are good to see wild dog, large prides of lions, big herds of buffalo and elephant, leopard, cheetah and all the plains animals that occur here. Night drives are conducted in the early evening offering one a chance to see the smaller more nocturnal animals with spotlights.
