Delicious, innovative cuisine is prepared by Leeu Estates’ culinary team. Lunch and dinner menus showcasing the finest locally sourced organic and ethically farmed produce in creative fusion dishes with vibrant world flavors. At Leeu Estates, leisurely meals and fine South African vintages from the cellar are served in The Dining Room and conservatory. A delectable afternoon tea of sweet and savory treats that change with the seasons is also available. Complementing the Leeu Collection are Tuk Tuk, a craft beer microbrewery in collaboration with the Cape Brewing Company, Marigold, Franschhoek’s first authentic Indian restaurant, La Petite Colombe at Le Quartier Francais, and a new restaurant Protégé also at Le Quartier Francais.
The Living Room
This beautifully appointed room which opens onto the terrace, is where you can sit back and relax, or mingle and chat, while enjoying views of the garden and mountains. A well-stocked honesty bar is housed in a bespoke shagreen and bone cabinet.
The Reading Room
The Reading Room with its comfortable seating, wood-burning fireplace, and views of the vineyards and gardens, is where you can take some time out. There is a wide selection of reading materials, from the classics to coffee table books, as well as board games.
Leeu Spa at Leeu Estates: Set among the vineyards, Leeu Spa is a wellness sanctuary that offers authentic massages and holistic treatments by expert therapists. These tailor-made treatments are inspired by Africa’s rich heritage and traditional rituals.
Indaba - The Meeting Room at Leeu Estates: The Meeting Place at Leeu Estates is a state-of-the-art multipurpose event and meeting venue. The light-filled space, with its open roof trusses, tall windows, timber floors and natural finishes, perfectly complements the collection of art and sculptures by artists such as Deborah Bell and Stanislaw Trzebinski, among others. Indaba can accommodate up to 50 guests both inside and on the terrace overlooking the beautiful valley and mountain landscape. The well-appointed venue can host various events, from cocktails, high teas, private parties, exhibitions, product launches, press briefings and seminars, to business meetings and think tank sessions for up to 30 people.
The Wine Studio at Leeu Estates: The Wine Studio at Leeu Estates offers a truly immersive wine experience. Housed on Leeu Estates, it is run by the Mullineux & Leeu team, whose knowledgeable tasting room staff will guide you in the finer nuances of these handcrafted wines.
Garden and Art Tours at Leeu Estates: A relaxing and rewarding way to spend a few hours ensconced in 168 acres of landscaped gardens, manicured vineyards and indigenous fynbos in the Franschhoek valley, and to take a guided tour of the gardens interspersed with artworks. The tours provide an opportunity to connect with art and nature in serene and meditative spaces with exceptional views.
