Shawa Luangwa Camp is based in South Luangwa, ideally located at the crossing of the magnificent South Luangwa National Park and the amazing Nsefu sector. Set along the banks of the Luangwa River, this intimate camp offers an authentic bush experience, underpinned by responsible tourism practices. Each of the five luxury Shawa Tents welcomes the outside in with three entirely open sides and unblocked 270-degree views over the river and across the park. Each A-frame canvas tent is raised above the ground on wooden stilts in order to lessen the impact on the local ecosystem and also ensure that whilst the breeze, sunshine, and view is welcomed into the rooms, the wildlife stay safely below where you can watch them wander by. Inside, soft linens and textiles in cool, neutral tones are paired beautifully with locally sourced, smooth woods. The luxurious en-suite bathroom has a bathtub, shower and double vanities finished with brass and copper fittings.
