La Residence can accommodate up to twenty-two guests across eleven Luxury and Superior Suites. No two suites are the same. Each has its own color scheme and design inspiration – from the exotic Tibetan Suite with its oriental antiques and rich orange tones to the blue and yellow Chambre Bleu with its Provençal antiques, velvets and silks. Though the Superior options are larger and feature extra touches of luxury, all offer an exceptional level of comfort and style, with terrace, king-size bed, underfloor heating, full minibar, a bathroom stocked with boutique toiletries, smart TV and everything else one would expect from a 5-star hotel. In addition, there are five Vineyard Suites (a single-bedroom option, three with two bedrooms and one with three bedrooms). They have all the features of the main suites as well as boasting a private swimming pool, terrace room and indoor and outdoor dining areas. In addition to the suites there’s also an exclusive use villa. Franschhoek House offers a private haven for extended families and groups of friends. The Franschhoek Valley produces superb harvests which means that whatever the season, the La Residence kitchen team always has a superb variety of fresh, local ingredients to work with. Working with local artisanal suppliers, they source the very best of everything from seafood to meat to cheese and use these as the inspiration for their unique creations. La Residence is the perfect place to enjoy anything from a delicious snack to a romantic dinner for two. With many different spots in which to eat, including poolside dining and gourmet picnics for long, lazy summer afternoons. The food offering combines contrasting and complementary elements to tell stories and surprise and delight you at every turn.
